Roller, Vertical & Panel Blinds

Dust when required using a clean, dry cloth. Blinds can also be vacuumed using a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment.

If stains occur, gently wipe the affected area with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using strong cleaning products, as some fabrics may be sensitive. If you are unsure about the correct cleaning method for your fabric, please contact the Alba Curtains team for advice.

Faux Wood & Aluminium Venetian Blinds

Clean with a duster or a slightly damp cloth.

If the blinds are heavily soiled, mild household cleaning products may be used. Ensure that the cleaning products do not contain bleach or harsh chemicals. When cleaning, avoid applying excessive pressure to prevent bending or damaging the slats.

Roman Blinds

Roman blinds can be vacuumed using a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment.

Light marks can be removed with a damp cloth. Depending on the fabric, some blinds may be suitable for dry cleaning. Please consult Alba Curtains before arranging professional cleaning.

To clean the headrail area, the fabric can be gently pulled away if it is attached with a velcro fastening.

Curtains

Curtains should be cleaned gently to maintain fabric quality. Dust can be removed using a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment.

For small stains, use a warm damp cloth. As some fabrics may shrink or react to dry cleaning, we recommend consulting Alba Curtains before arranging professional cleaning.

Honeycomb (Cellular) Blinds

Honeycomb blinds are made from delicate materials and should be handled with care.

Use a dry, soft duster to remove dust and avoid pressing too hard to prevent damaging the pleats. Alternatively, a hairdryer on a cool air setting can be used to gently blow away dust.

Shutters

To keep your shutters looking fresh, clean them regularly with a dry, lint-free cloth. Regular maintenance prevents dust buildup and helps preserve their appearance.
