1. Introduction

Welcome to AlbaCurtains.ae, operated by Bornheim Brands Corp - FZCO, a UAE-based provider of custom-made curtains and blinds. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


2. Products & Services

We provide made-to-measure curtains and blinds tailored to your specifications. All items are custom-produced and installed through our network of trusted partners.


3. Bookings

A booking is made when a customer provides their details and selects a slot via our website.

A booking is considered confirmed only when the customer’s phone number has been successfully verified:
- by confirming via WhatsApp after receiving a notification from our team.

If the phone number is not verified, Alba Curtains reserves the right to hold or cancel the booking until verification is successfully completed.

Bookings do not constitute an order. An order will only be placed once payment is made according to the options detailed in Section 5.


4. Order Confirmation & Modifications

Orders are confirmed when one of the following is received:

- Full upfront payment

- 50% advance payment


5. Pre-Installation Requirements

Prior to installation, the customer must confirm the following:

  • Authorization and approval for drilling during the scheduled timeslot from building management for installation (Work Permit if required).

  • Electricity is connected at the installation site. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the location is ready for installation, with no construction, renovation, or obstacles that could interfere with the installation.

  • The proposed installation date has been confirmed with Alba Curtains.

  • The installation will be performed strictly according to the specifications provided in the quotation, including product selection, fabric type, and any agreed-upon installation instructions. Once completed, the installation will be considered finalized.

Failure to meet any of these conditions may result in rescheduling and additional charges.

6. Payment Terms

We offer three payment options:

  • Full upfront payment

  • 50% advance payment, 50% due at installation

Orders are only confirmed once one of these payment options is completed.

7. Payment Methods

Payments for orders are accepted via:

  • Credit Card: Visa and Mastercard, online on our website or via a secured Stripe link.

  • Bank Transfer: Only for upfront payments; may be used for balance payments if credit card issues arise.

8. Delivery & Installation

  • We aim to install within 2-5 workdays from payment and order confirmation.

  • Timeline may vary depending on production, scheduling, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Delivery and installation will follow customer requirements specified in the order.

  • For any installation issues, we will notify customers with next steps and updated timeline.

  • Compensation for product/service issues may include discounts, exchange, or mutually agreed solutions. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of installation.

9. Outstanding Balances & Legal Enforcement

  • Remaining 50% payment is due the day after successful installation 

  • Non-payment may lead to collection or legal proceedings; associated fees borne by the customer.

  • Penalty for failed payments:

    • Day 3: AED 300 fee

    • Subsequent days: AED 30/day

  • Outstanding balance >7 days may result in legal action; customer bears all costs.

10. Warranty & Quality

  • Fabrics and rails:

    1. Basic Line: 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

    2. Signature Line: Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

  • Motors / motorized accessories:

    • Small, Medium & Large Wired Tubular and Curtain Motors: 12-year warranty.

    • Blindtex WireFree Tubular Motors: 2-year warranty.

  • Warranty excludes damage from misuse, improper cleaning, installation issues outside our control, or normal wear and tear.

  • Warranty applies only to items/services in the original quotation. Changes require a new quotation/order.

11. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders can only be cancelled/modified prior to production.

  • After production begins, refunds are not available unless the product is defective or incorrectly manufactured.

  • No refunds after installation if specifications match the agreed quotation.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Not liable for indirect/incidental losses.

  • Liability limited to total amount paid for the product.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
